I consider myself very fortunate; not only do I have a wonderful family, but I also have an exciting job. At a young age, my father taught me the importance of preserving memories in a simple photograph. It soon became second nature for me to photograph special occasions. I obtained a degree in commercial art and graphic design, working as a photo touch-up artist for a major department store. Eventually, I fell into photography as a career by photographing an event for someone. As a result, I found out how much I enjoyed photography and working with people. That event opened the door to my future which was more than 20 years ago.
Being a bride myself and having raised three children, I understand the significance of capturing life's precious memories. In my mind, there's nothing more powerful than looking at a photograph and being taken back to that special moment in time.
I use my graphic design experience in everything I do, from the images taken to the final portrait or albums created. Whether working on location using natural surroundings or in my portrait studio, my goal is to capture the expression and mood...letting the moment happen naturally. Either elegantly traditional or artistically candid, in black and white or vibrant color, I photograph for my clients the way I would photograph for myself.
Simple...Natural...Beautiful
